Carmel 2013

So what's a good way to kick start the new year of 2013? Road Trip. My niece chose the place this time and once again it's her favorite place, Carmel California. For those of you who haven't been there, I'm bringing it to you. On our second day, after a long day of shopping, we decided to pay a visit to Carmel bay to check out the coast. Surprisingly, the weather was not bad. I was expecting some clouds and possibly rain like it is in Sacramento during the time, but mother nature was at it's best that day. As soon as we arrived to the coast, I knew there was no way I am sleeping tonight if I did not take these shores with me. This was also an opportunity for me to put my Manual setting skills to work on my DSLR camera. I had to jump back and forth on my f-stops, shutter speeds, apertures, and filters just to get the right shots without too much darkness or brightness. I made a few mistakes along the way, but that's how you learn. Everything was just perfect to be captured, so it's times like these when I'm glad to have a 32gb memory card that gives me thousands of shots versus a disposable camera with only 27 shots. Hopefully you guys will have the same great experience as I did.
